Product Description：
Eaton's KW and KVW families of supercapacitors replace button cell batteries (and the battery holder) for real-time clock backup power, and provide ridethrough for battery operated devices to allow time for battery replacements. They are fully rated at industrial temperatures from -40 °C to +85 °C. The KW is rated at 5.5 V while the KVW family is intended for consumer and light industrial applications with 5.0 V rating. Both families can be operated at lower voltages than rated. All products are RoHS compliant.
Eaton supercapacitors are unique, ultrahighcapacitance devices utilizing electric double layercapacitor (EDLC) construction combined withnew, high performance materials. Thiscombination of advanced technologies allowsEaton to offer a wide variety of capacitor solutionstailored to specific applications that range froma few microamps for several days to severalmilliamps formilliseconds.All products feature low ESR for high powerdensity with environmentally friendly materials fora green power solution. Eaton supercapacitors aremaintenance-free with design lifetimes up to 20 years and operating temperatures down to-40 °C and up to +85 °C.
